Experience FC Award Application
Florida College is offering two exciting events for high school students this school year:
Experience FC – March 28, 2025
Experience FC is a unique one-day event designed to offer juniors, seniors, and their parents an opportunity to delve deeper into the culture of Florida College and expand their knowledge about it.
FC Bound – February 20-23, 2025
Admitted high school seniors will enjoy a three-day immersive experience in a fast-paced college setting. Seniors will experience classes, dorm life after curfew, and have a thrilling Saturday at a world-renowned amusement park only minutes away from campus!
The Indiana Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell offers scholarships for eligible students to receive up to $350 reimbursement for travel expenses to attend either Experience FC or FC Bound. Parents are eligible to receive up to $150.00 for travel expenses to attend with their child. Students are responsible for paying the registration fee that Florida College charges to attend the event.
Eligibility:
- Student must be an academic Junior or Senior
- Student must be a:
- Current or Former GIFCBC Member or
- Former GIFCBC Camper (including out of state campers) or
- Indiana Resident
- Student must submit the event application form (and pay the registration fee) to Florida College prior to applying for the booster club scholarship
Please note: Florida College has made a lot of changes to the experiences that they offer to prospective students. We encourage you to review the information listed on Florida College’s website
Notable Changes Include:
- Experience FC (formerly Falcon Days) will be 1 day only and will not include an overnight stay on campus.
- Experience FC will require a chaperone, ideally a parent, who will attend all of the activities.
- To attend FC Bound the student must have applied and be accepted to attend Florida College for next year.

Take a break from the excitement to indulge in a special parent lunch, where you will have the chance to meet faculty and staff members who will be instrumental in your student’s college experience.

Our goal is for attendees to leave EXPERIENCE FC feeling confident and informed about what their college life would be like at Florida College.
The next date for EXPERIENCE FC is March 28th. The new cost is $25 per student, $15 per parent.
