Experience FC & FC Bound

Florida College offers two exciting events for high school students:

Experience FC

A one-day event for students and their parents to explore Florida College’s culture and campus.
    •    Fall Events (October & November): Open to juniors and seniors only.
    •    Spring Events (March & April): Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
    •    Cost: $35 per student (includes one chaperone); additional guests $10 each.

FC Bound

A three-day immersive experience for admitted seniors, featuring college classes, dorm life, and a Saturday trip to an amusement park.
    •    Cost: $60 per student + $80 for Busch Gardens ticket

Scholarship Opportunity

The Indiana Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell offers travel reimbursements:
    •    Students: Up to $350 for Experience FC or FC Bound
    •    Parents: An additional $150 for Experience FC (total possible reimbursement: $500)
(Students must cover the event registration fee charged by Florida College.)

Additional Guidelines:
    •    Reimbursement is provided after the event.
    •    Students may receive up to two awards total during their sophomore, junior, and senior years.
    •    Students cannot receive reimbursement for both events in the same academic year.

Eligibility
    •    Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school.

 Must meet at least one of the following criteria:
    ◦    Current or former GIFCBC member OR
    ◦    Former GIFCBC camper (including out-of-state campers) OR
    ◦    Indiana resident

    •    Must submit the event application and pay the registration fee to Florida College before applying for the scholarship.
